The ride is paced at a leisurely walk. The trails cross the river onto large islands in several places. There are beautiful vistas of the Bridger Range, Hyalites and Spanish Peaks.
We offer instruction in horseback riding for those who need it. We do our best to match horse to rider according to the rider's skill level.
Reservations are Required.
Generally our party size is from four to six riders. If you have at least four in your group we will be happy to book the ride for your party exclusively. We can accommodate large private parties as well.

You will want to bring a jacket, wide brimmed hat or ball cap, gloves, water bottle and sunglasses. Most folks also bring a camera.
We will provide saddle bags and a rain slicker. If you have rain gear of your own please feel free to bring it.
We have hooded stirrups so western riding boots are not a requirement.
MEDICINE LAKE OUTFITTERS offers hourly trail rides along the Gallatin River just minutes from Bozeman. Our bridal trails pass through a Cottonwood Forest that is wildlife rich.
Bald Eagles, Hawks, Sandhill Cranes, and a variety of Water Fowl and Song Birds live here in prolific numbers. Whitetail Deer, Moose, Coyote, Fox and River Otter are often seen.
One Hour Ride - $40.
Two Hour Ride - $60.
